A delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan led by Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Ermek Kosherbaev arrives in Astrakhan region today.

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador is scheduled to meet the Governor of the Astrakhan region Igor Babushkin.  The meeting is expected to discuss promising avenues of cooperation according to the agreements reached in July during the Governor’s visit to Nur-Sultan on shipbuilding,  broadening mutual trade, building cooperation in tourism, medicine, education, culture etc.

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador and the Governor of the Astrakhan region Igor Babushkin are to take part in ceremonial opening of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan building in Astrakhan.

The Kazakhstani diplomat will address the VI Caspian Media Forum plenary session on September 10 and attend Alexander Nevsky cantata as well. It will be the first open-air concert in Astrakhan within the Caspian classical music festival OperaFirst. Astrakhan 2021.
