The "New Generation" program was launched on the margins of the Caspian Media Forum-2021

The participants of Caspian Media Forum, - in particular, media representatives from Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, supported by Rossotrudnichestvo, - learned from the "New Generation" program representatives how to make their media more modern and relevant, they also were able to ask questions and received a lot of valuable information.

The guests were greeted by Roman Yadykin, Deputy Minister of State Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Astrakhan Region, and Galina Belolipskaya, Head of the Department of Theory and History of Journalism at ASU.

"This is the third time we are meeting the New Generation program in Astrakhan, which gives participants new knowledge, experience and skills.

I am sure that everyone will be able to learn something new and useful, " Roman Yadykin commented.

The leading speakers of the intensive course "How to Work Effectively with Media Products in Digital Environment" were teachers of the Higher School of Economics, experts of the program "Producer of the Future", experts of the ANO "Network", authors of the educational program "Digital Producer in Social Media" Dmitry Beskromny and Vadim Slavgorodsky.

According to them, the main goal of the educational intensive course is to learn how to effectively develop a sustainable and necessary for readers digital media.

The speakers held several lectures for the participants of the Media Forum: the participants discussed a new paradigm of media consumption, learned how to analyze the competition field, evaluated examples of best practices and outlined approaches to content planning and finding new ideas.

As a result, the listeners received homework assignments, that are to be checked together with the experts the next day, September 10.

Then the intensive course will continue with new lectures. The themes are new media and Telegram, the basics of content distribution in social media, and features of promotion methods on key platforms.

Also, representatives of the Caspian media will take part in a discussion panel dedicated to educational media projects in the new information communications system, and will attend the plenary session "Tourism and Ethno-Cultural Communications in the Media Space" within the framework of the Caspian Media Forum.

According to Roman Yadykin, Deputy Minister of State Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Astrakhan Region, such events are a contribution to building up competencies, skills, filling in blank spots, answering questions coming from young activists, volunteers and journalists.

It is very important to gather future professionals of the Caspian states on one platform and at the same time talk about important issues in order to develop a common view, common understanding, and common position.
