On the eve of the Caspian Media Forum-2021, the Caspian School of Volunteering "Meridians of Goodwill" has started its work.

At the moment, panel discussions are being held on "Best practices and approaches in working with eco-volunteerism today" and "Overcoming key barriers in volunteering in the field of ecology".

The speakers of the Caspian School were the head of the Agency for Youth Affairs of the Astrakhan region Viktor Nurtazin, Deputy Chairman of the NGO of environmental Volunteers " Do!", Irina Levina, director of the Green Movement of Russia "EKA" Elena Gorokhova, and Executive director of the Political Science Center "North-South" Anzhelika Trapeznikova.

"The system of international cooperation of the Caspian countries in the field of volunteerism is relevant and very important for us. It can become one of the priority areas and an excellent impetus for our interaction, establishing contacts, as well as sharing experience. One of the important areas is environmental volunteering, including the preservation of the water area and the coast of the Caspian Sea," said Viktor Nurtazin, head of the regional Agency for Youth Affairs.

At the closure of the forum, the participants of the Caspian School will plant trees near the registry office.
