Visitors from the Caspian region countries are coming to Astrakhan

There are a few days left before the beginning of the event.

The main program will begin on September 10.

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors of the Islamic Republic of Iran Kazem Jalali, and the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev, as well as the official delegation from the Republic of Azerbaijan are expected to attend the Forum.

The Turkmenistan representatives will attend online.

The main theme is Tourism and Ethnocultural Communications in the media space.

Furthermore, heads of federal ministries and departments, as well as the heads of regions of the Russian Federation, mass media, public figures and experts from the Caspian countries have received the invitations and are coming to the Media Forum in Astrakhan.

   In particular, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is expected to arrive.

She said that a media briefing is planned during the Caspian Media Forum.

Speaking about the Media Forum, Mrs. Zakharova noted that it is "a unique platform designed to exchange experience, to discuss new trends in regional and international journalism development, to create a common information field for the Caspian region countries – Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation and other countries."

One of the main events of the Forum will be the final of the contest for the best journalistic work "Caspiy without Borders".

The event will also include a plenary session and panel discussions, where important information issues will be resolved.

The arrival of the participants is to be on September 9, the main events of the forum begin on September 10, the departure of the forum participants is planned on September 11.
